UC Merced's SATAL program received a 2018 Professional Organizational Development (POD) Innovation Award for its project, "Students Helping Students Provide Valuable Feedback on Course Evaluations. An effort to elicit more actionable feedback to the open-ended questions on the Student Evaluations of Teaching (SETs) by partnering with undergraduate interns to implement a peer-led video presentation on the importance of completing SETs."

UC Merced Library's Assessment in Action (AiA) team's "Assessing the Value of Course-Embedded Information Literacy on Student Learning and Achievement" (College and Research Libraries, Vol 77, No 2) is recognized by the Library Instruction Round Table (LIRT) of the American Library Association as a LIRT Top 20 Library Instruction Article for 2016.
