The Senate-Administration Council on Assessment and Planning (SACAP) is charged with overseeing and coordinating assessment at UC Merced.
Accordingly, it ensures that assessment supports the campus's mission and planning priorities, that findings are integrated into campus-planning and decision-making at all levels and that assessment is appropriately resourced. SACAP also advises campus leadership on how best to meet accreditation expectations. SACAP's membership includes Academic Senate and administrative leaders.
To facilitate aspects of this work, SACAP has established the following working groups and committees:
- The Committee for the Review of PLO Reports
- Campus Working Group on Assessment
- Digital Assessment Working Group
